Violence In Iraq Continues With 5 U.S. Servicemen Killed
A suicide bomber blew himself up at the gate of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s presidential palace in Tikrit on Monday, killing at least 11 and wounding 20, three days after another explosion partially leveled a mosque on the palace grounds.
The latest bombing was one of a string of violent attacks in Iraq on Monday, including an incident in which five U.S. soldiers were killed, the Associated Press reported.

My Comment: This is just more proof that the Iraqis are not ready to stop the violence that is hitting them everyday .... but on the flip side .... the loss of one U.S. soldier makes me cringe everytime because I cannot help but feel that it is a life that has been wasted in a war that is no longer our conflict.
