Syria Says Protesters Killed Security Forces -- Washington Post

BEIRUT — The Syrian government said Monday that 120 people had been killed by armed protesters in the northern town of Jisr al-Shughour, amid indications that at least in some parts of the country what began as a peaceful protest movement is turning into an armed rebellion.
