The A-10 is Still Going Strong


A-10 Warthogs Could Serve Until 2040 -- Defense Tech

So it might be 2040 before the Air Force’s fleet of A-10 Warthog attack jets is replaced by the F-35 and whatever drones emerge in the coming years.

My Comment: Till 2040 .... wow .... I thought the old B-52s were tough .... but it looks like the A-10 is even tougher.

Well, the current plan is to keep the B-52s going till about 2040 also. And they started flying about 25 years before the A-10.
