New Website For Military Widows -- Kare11/NBC/AP

A military widow has created a website to help connect those who have lost loved ones while serving in the military.

Nearly 3,000 people across the country have been widowed since the war on terror began.

Taryn Davis is one of them. Her husband, Michael Davis was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2007.
