My Comment:
This article (with the exception of one line in the first paragraph) makes no mention of the ongoing war and conflicts in the region .... as if it has zero impact on the food situation in the region. Nor the political/governmental interference and conflicts generated by the governments in the region, and how their policies have brought about the suffering that now exists.

Nope .... Africa is hungry because of colonialism, corporate greed, and the desire of foreign organizations to introduce alternative farming techniques and products.

What is my take .... sighhh .... the Africa of old is gone .... and if it does not change the only alternative will be even more misery and suffering.
