Full Horror Of Syrian Campaign On Show -- The Telegraph

The full extent of the horror visited on the Syrian city of Hama has been revealed after the end of a week-long assault that left scores of people dead.

Few foreign journalists have been allowed into Syria to report on the uprising against President Assad's regime, but a small group of Turkish reporters was yesterday given an escorted tour of the broken, deserted city.

Shops were shuttered as nervous residents stayed at home.

Two armoured personnel carriers stood watch over an empty central square.
