Families Of Lockerbie Bombing Victims Cheer Collapse Of Moammar Khadafy's Regime In Libya -- New York Daily News

Families of the Pan Am Flight 103 victims Sunday night were savoring a moment they had craved for more than 20 years.

With Moammar Khadafy's long reign in its final moments, relatives of the 259 people killed in the bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland, celebrated his imminent fall.
"I never thought this day would come," said Susan Cohen, 73, whose 20-year-old daughter, Theodora, was killed in the 1988 act of terror ordered by the Libyan strongman.

"I expected to die with this tyrant still in power."

But what will really make their day is seeing the Lockerbie Bomber convicted and dumped into a U.S. jail.
