My Comment: The Chinese have thrown down the gauntlet .... how will their neighbors in the South China Seas react is open to debate. My prediction .... China's neighbors will start to lay the groundwork for doing their own oil exploration in disputed territories, and will by these actions force China to make a decision .... to do nothing and just pursue their own oil explorations, or intervene militarily to stop any oil drilling being conducted from other countries.

Is this a prescription for war and conflict .... you betcha.
