While the editors of the magazine said on the TIME website that it would ultimately make the decision, they're asking readers, "if you were in charge, who would it be?"
The editors are offering 31 choices -- some of which may or may not be serious candidates for the title -- and readers are able to vote yes or no on each of the options.

It HAS to be Julian Assange. People forget that this whole Arab Spring mess started in Tunisia because of leaked State Department memos. I think what Assange did was absolutely reprehensible, but his actions are going to rock the Arab world (and the rest of us, too) for a long time to come.
