Hundreds Of Humvees, Tanks And Trucks Get A Good Cleaning In Kuwait Before Heading Home -- Stars And Stripes
CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait -- On Lot 58, military vehicles stretch as far as the eye can see.
There are hundreds of Humvees, tanks and trucks -- the workhorses that carried troops in and out of battle for the nearly 10 years that the U.S. has been at war in Iraq.
Lot 58 at Camp Arifjan is where the military's fleet of vehicles comes to be sorted and accounted for before being sent to Afghanistan, back to the U.S. or elsewhere.
At the nearby wash rack, hundreds of vehicles are prepared for customs each day during operations that never cease.
