A Libyan revolutionary commander tortured after Britain and the U.S. allegedly turned him over to Gaddafi's henchman is taking legal action against the British Government and could be in line for a £1million payout.

Abdel Hakim Belhadj, who led the assault on Tripoli in the dying days of the old regime, claims the British helped hunt him down and hand him over.
