Russian Call For Libya Probe 'Cheap Stunt'

My Comment: So much for resetting U.S. - Russian relations. When it comes to Libya, Russia is very much in the "minority" position. The Libyan people are overjoyed that the dictator is gone, and Russia's support of Gaddafi has lost them any credibility in Libya for the next generation or two. But it is because of Syria that Russia is now acting the way that it is .... trying their best to support their ally, and to tell other allies around the world that Russia will not abandon them. Is this a good strategy .... definitely not .... Assad of Syria will probably be overthrown, and Syrian resentment over Russian support of the dictator will probably become just as intense as Libyan resentment over Russia's support of Gaddafi.
