A BOY soldier too young to play computer wargame Call of Duty ended up on the frontline in Afghanistan — by hiding his age.

Determined recruit Adam Wilkie dodged strict checks that are meant to ensure combat troops are 18 — so he could fight the Taliban at just 17.

The burly teenager was last night revealed to have spent six weeks in the thick of battle in the powderkeg province of Helmand — distinguishing himself with his courage.
