British al-Qaida Suspect Killed In US Drone Attack In Somalia -- The Guardian

Bilal el-Berjawi, from London, reportedly died in air strike outside Mogadishu while allegedly fighting alongside Islamist insurgents.

An alleged al-Qaida member from London is reported to have been killed in a missile attack launched by a US drone while he was fighting alongside Islamist insurgents in Somalia.

Bilal el-Berjawi, 27, is said to have died when three missiles fired by the unmanned aircraft hit his car on the outskirts of Mogadishu.

His wife is understood to have given birth to a child in a London hospital a few hours before the strike, prompting suspicions among relatives that his location was pinpointed as a result of a telephone conversation between the couple.
