Under Siege In Syria: Journalists Risking Life And Limb In The Bombarded City Of Homs -- Daily Mail

The horror of what life is really like in the Syrian rebel stronghold of Homs - under constant bombardment by government troops for the last month - is to be revealed.

Dramatic footage of Western journalists working in the besieged city will be aired for the first time tomorrow night on CNN.

The city's rubble-strewn streets, billowing black smoke and desperate citizens take centre stage in the special 72 Hours Under Fire report - which the channel said 'just had' to be made to 'get the story out'.

My Comment: A war correspondent is not what it use to be .... for one .... in most conflicts there are no longer any defined fronts .... anyone can become fair game to one side or the other.
