Afghan Massacre Suspect's Wife: He Would Not Do That -- MSNBC

In an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer, Staff Sgt. Robert Bales' wife Karilyn Bales says she can't believe her husband would kill 9 Afghan children and wound two others.

"He loves children, he's like a big kid himself," Karilyn Bales explained.

"It's unbelievable to me. I have no idea what happened, but he would not...he loves children, and he would not do that."

A portion of the interview aired Sunday on NBC Nightly News. See more from the interview Monday, March 26 on TODAY and NBC Nightly News.

My Comment: I cannot even imagine what is going through her mind right now .... but I do know one thing .... like those who survived or must deal with the loss of their loved ones from this massacre .... her life and the life of her children will never be the same.
