My Comment: As one who lived in China (1986 and 1988) .... and going back (at least) once every two years since .... I have a certain perspective that is different from most pundits. So what is my take on this story .... corruption is a way of life in China, so this is not the reason why Bo Xilai is being sacked. The reason why he is being sacked is due to his flirtation with Mao's "ways and means" to mobilize citizens to support his policies. If there is one thing that I learned when I lived in China .... especially in the 1980s .... is the deep disgust and hatred that many of China's ruling elite have towards Mao and the cultural revolution that he spawned in the 1960s. If they did not suffer personally from that time of turmoil .... their parents did .... and while they will never talk publicly of any ill will towards Mao .... privately .... it is the completely opposite.

So .... will Bo Xilai come back .... hmmm .... not in this life-time.
