Nawroz was just a simple cook, working with the 10 masons and carpenters in a partly-finished six-floor building near the Parliament complex in Kabul.
On Sunday, just around lunchtime, four Taliban fighters left their explosives-packed Toyota van on the street and climbed the stairway, where they found Mr. Nawroz and his fellow workers on the fifth floor. The militants told the other laborers, who were covered in clay and grease, that they could go.
But Mr. Nawroz, 22, looked clean – and they killed him.

My Comment: The only good thing about this report is that the Taliban fighters who conducted these killings are dead.
