The Fort Carson soldier who notified a spouse of her husband’s downrange death using Facebook could face dishonorable discharge, prison time and loss of wages, a JAG official told us.
Depending on what an Army investigation uncovers, the soldier would likely be prosecuted under Article 92 of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which covers violations of direct and lawful general orders, the JAG official, who did not wish to be identified, said.

My Comment: The solider who used Facebook to notify the wife of a soldier killed in Afghanistan deserves to have the book thrown at her. The rules are there for a purpose, and the consequences are severe if broken.

If you support throwing the ucmj book at her then you should support throwing the book at the soldiers thats raised the crosses on a military (government) installation. If not thats hypocrisy.
Thank you Eric for your comment. What I want is one thing .... but the military will always follow the guidelines and rules that are given to it .... even though I may object to it.
The soldier who used Facebook will be punished .... and yes .... two crosses hidden away on a base will probably be removed also.
