My Comment: The U.S. Government has enough headaches in trying to run the government .... to put onto its shoulders additional responsibilities .... one that (mind you) does have a direct bearing on our national defense .... is .... probably .... one government policy that is too far.
Sighhh .... what a difference from the Chinese who view rare earths as something that is vital to their national security.
