Why Is The Kremlin Viewing President Obama As Weak?



Kremlin Sees Obama As Weak -- Vladimir Ryzhkov, Moscow Times

U.S. Ambassador Michael McFaul has encountered a much chillier reception than he apparently anticipated when he agreed to come to Moscow. Rather than accolades, respect and words of endearment from the Russian authorities, the man who is an architect of U.S. President Barack Obama's "reset" with Moscow instead found himself the object of a Kremlin-sponsored media campaign aimed at discrediting, pressuring, provoking and defaming him.

My Comment: I am not a supporter of President Obama (in case anyone is interested I am also not a supporter of Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich) .... but Russian media coverage of this White House has even prompted me to argue with my relatives back home in Russia that what they are seeing is not accurate. In short .... the disrespect and condescension coming from Russia on this White House is something that I have not seen in a very long time .... and it is very effective .... giving a false and inaccurate picture to ordinary Russians who depend on the news for their information.
