US, Pakistan Beginning To Look More Like Enemies -- Economic Times/AP
ISLAMABAD: You know a friendship has gone sour when you start making mean jokes about your friend in front of his most bitter nemesis.
So it was a bad sign this week when the US defense secretary joshed in front of an audience of Indians about how Washington kept Pakistan in the dark about the raid that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden a year ago.

My Comment: If one goes to the trouble of reading what Pakistan's media has been saying about the U.S. over the years .... or check out the virulent anti-Americanism in their education curriculum .... or what all politicians in Pakistan have been saying about the U.S. in the past few years .... couple this with closing supply lines and supporting Taliban linked insurgent groups like the Haqqani network ..... you too would quickly come to the conclusion that yes ... we are enemies. The only difference now is that the U.S. is waking up to this duplicity.
