Egypt's Morsi 'To Rethink Israel Pact, Build Iran Ties' -- AFP

Update: Egypt's Mohammed Morsi calls for closer Iran ties -- The Telegraph
My Comment: Many in Israel are blaming President Obama for the Brotherhood's victory, as well as many in Egypt's secular community.

Bit skeptical of this apparent interview report, if it is true, it means Morsi has not been 'honest' in his public acceptance speech he gave, it also means he should be looking at interests at home rather than abroad.
It could be the Iran media trying to drive another wedge into the international community, such as that rather sketchy report about the joint war games...
For the moment the whole thing is laughable. Israel shouldn't be concerned with Egypt for the time being as Morsi has absolutely no control over the Egyptian military and doesn't seem likely to gain any for the time being, Egypt will hardly be involved in any conflicts in the near future and should they become embroiled into one, expect total chaos within the military ranks and more splinterings...
Thank you D. Plowman for your comment. I concur with your assessment ... .Iran wants to paint a positive light on the Egyptian election. Still .... Egypt's Morsi has said some outrageous things, including the line that non-Muslims and women should not be permitted to have leadership positions in the government.
