Greek Radical Left Leader Vows To Annul Bailout Deals -- Xinhuanet

ATHENS, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Greek Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leader Alexis Tsipras vowed on Friday to annul the two international bailout deals for the debt-ridden country.

"The bailout deal is an automatic pilot to utter disaster ... We ask people's vote to annul the terms of bailout agreements," Tsipras said, presenting the party's economic agenda in Athens ahead of the national elections due on June 17.

Tsipras pledged to renegotiate "the debt at European level, aiming to drastically reduce it, or a debt moratorium and a suspension of interest payments until conditions for the stabilization and recovery of the economy are created."
