Newly elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy gave his first speech since the announcement of his victory over Ahmed Shafik on Sunday evening, vowing to "preserve international accords and obligations," in what appeared to be a reference to the peace treaty with Israel.

My Comment: Israel is concerned .... and they have every right to be. But the ones who should be even more concerned are the Coptic Christians and other religious minorities who now find themselves with a President and an organization (The Muslin Brotherhood) that has shown no sympathy or tolerance of their communities in the past.

I think very little will happen here in regards to the Christian community. Considering their already a minority, most likely they'll continue to on as they did before, unless for some reason the election of an islamic president seemingly changes that perspective, which I don't think it will.
Also, people are concerned and that comes from the heightened negative view that Islam has gotten and continues to get over the past few years. I myself have no love for religion, and even less for Islam, but even I can see that in some cases despite the religion of an individual, if the individual is morally right and doesn't involve the extreminism aspect of Islam, well good things can happen...
So only time will tell of what sort of President he will be.
