Mohammed Morsi To Respect Egypt Court Ruling On Parliament -- The Telegraph

Mohammed Morsi, the Egyptian president, will respect a court ruling overturning his decree for the dissolved Islamist-dominated parliament to convene.

Mr Morsi's latest move indicated an apparent willingness to step back from a potentially volatile situation – the Islamists and military are locked in a power struggled.

"If yesterday's constitutional court ruling prevents parliament from fulfilling its responsibilities, we will respect that because we are a state of the law," a statement said, a day after the court froze Morsi's decree.
