Editor's Note

Continuing to enjoy my summer weekends and on this weekend it is at my friend's cottage. Unfortunately .... much to my surprise ....he does not have speed internet (just dial-up) .... yech. Regular blogging will return late Sunday night.

It is a curious symptom of things digital that as son as we speed up, we find it horrible to return to earlier speeds.

I agree Fred. When I was throwing out some old junk a few months ago, I found my old US Robotics 16k modem. I still remember how awesome it was when I first bought it. Sighhh ... I getting old :(
