Citing Tensions, China's Future Leader Cancels Hillary Clinton Meeting

China's Xi Jinping Cancels Hillary Clinton Meeting Amid 'Tensions' -- The Telegraph

My Comment:
For the Chinese .... appearances is everything, and this snub says a lot. While Hillary Clinton did meet the Chinese President, the Chinese media made it very clear that China's next leader .... Xi Jinping .... would not meet her .... and they told her this at the last moment. These events are always scripted months in advance, the Chinese are making a point to the U.S. that aside from all the oratory, usual business is not going to the rule in future talks.
