Mitt Romney: Palestinians Have No Interest In Peace

Mitt Romney: 'Palestinians Have No Interest Whatsoever In Establishing Peace’ -- Washington Post

Mitt Romney told a private audience of campaign donors in May that the pursuit of Middle East peace is likely to remain “an unsolved problem” because the Palestinians have “no interest whatsoever” in reaching a peace agreement with Israel.

My Comment: For as long as I can remember every U.S. president has made a commitment to find some formula for peace between Israel and the Palestinians .... and every President has failed. The reason for this failure has been simple .... both sides want the same land for themselves and not for the other. So while the Palestinians may be 'committed to the destruction of Israel' .... Israel is not prepared to give land that the Palestinians want in their own state .... hence .... an intractable problem with no solution. And here is an easy prediction .... long after Obama and Romney are gone, the conflict between the Palestinians and Israelis will still exist.
