I've heard a very different story on what the Prince actually did and where he was from a very reliable source, and none of it contained any mention of the SAS...
Prince Harry does not strike me as someone who would want to be "whisked away' when trouble arrives. But I do know that on his first deployment he was always surrounded by SAS and the Gurkhas .... and the SAS (along with the US Navy SEALS) are probably the best bodyguards in the world.
