Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Feinstein: 'We Will Need To Talk To David Petraeus' About Benghazi -- NBC

The chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee says she will seek testimony from former CIA Director David Petraeus, who resigned Friday as CIA director after acknowledging an extramarital affair, about the September attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead.

“I have no doubt now that we will need to talk with David Petraeus and we will likely do that in closed session. But it will be done one way or another,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., told NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell on Monday.

Feinstein also she also may subpoena reports on a trip Petraeus took to Libya in the last year.

My Comment: Amazing .... I have just learned that Petraeus went to Libya himself to investigate why the US Ambassador and three other Americans were murdered .... which tells me that he now knows what is the truth behind Benghazi. But it is right after this trip that this scandal hit the fan .... talk about coincidences and timing. Throw in the fact that his ex-mistress had her home raided yesterday .... yup .... to me this is a a message .... don't testify.

FOX News is right .... there are three key questions that need to be answered. But with the media now focused on the scandal, anything negative that Petraeus will say .... such as the video had nothing to do with the Benghazi attack .... will be discounted. As for President Obama, he has now positioned himself masterly to be insulated from any negative fallout from Benghazi.

As for Hillary Clinton not showing up for these Benghazi hearings .... she has made it very clear that she has other priorities.


Sighhh .... four more years of listening to the sycophants trying to defend or explain this crap. Thank God I live in Canada.
