Army Releases Suicide Data For October 2012 -- Examiner
This morning the Army released suicide data for the month of October.
To date, there have been a total of 105 active-duty Army suicides compared to last year’s 165, at year’s end. There are still 16 cases for this year that remain under investigation.
Fifteen of the 20 possible suicides for October are still under investigation; sadly five have been confirmed.
In September, President Obama acknowledged that we are not doing enough to protect our men and women, across the branches, who are coming home from war.
