Obama, Romney Make Final Appeals -- Wall Street Journal
The expensive, long and bitter U.S. presidential campaign entered its final day Monday as President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney traveled to battleground states, making their last pleas to supporters to vote and to mobilize others.
Both candidates are ending their campaigns in states considered key to launching their political journeys: Mr. Obama is holding a rally in Iowa, the state where his 2008 campaign took off in the Democratic-primary season; Mr. Romney is closing his campaign in New Hampshire, where he announced his presidential campaign a year ago.
