At least three people have been killed and dozens taken hostage in a deadly attack on a natural gas facility in Algeria Wednesday in a strike that appears to have been carried out by an al-Qaeda-linked militant group.

According to reports by the AP and Reuters, 41people have been taken hostage from the complex deep in the Sahara, including citizens from America, Britain, France, Norway, and Japan.
