France has increased its domestic security, due to concern about possible threats following the launch of French military action against al-Qaida linked rebels in Mali.

My Comment: France's internal security and police forces are very effective .... but these precautions are necessary in view of the many 'soft targets' and historical landmarks that exist in France.
