What Are The U.S. Priorities?

WNU Editor: Just a few personal observations that I need to get off my chest. Here are a bunch of stories that I read today and just makes me shake my head:

Secretary of State John Kerry seeks to free $700 million for Palestinian aid .... followed by this .... Salaries For Suicide Bombers: Western States Unwittingly Fund Terrorist Activities In Palestine, Says Report

Then I read this ....

Watchdog: US aid to Afghanistan could be making way to Iran .... followed by this .... Pentagon: Carrier fleet cut to one in Gulf

Then I read this ....

US delivers F-16 fighter jets to Egypt .... followed by this story .... The Fewer, The Proud, The Marines—Budget Cuts Toll

But I leave the best one for last ....

Aid cut to Pakistan will be unkind, argues Kerry .... followed by this .... 92% of Pakistanis Now Dislike America

My Comment: During moments like this I always remember my favorite Ray Bradbury quote and one that I am beginning to believe is appropriate to describe America today .... "The gargoyles have taken over the cathedral".
