6 Killed, 8 Wounded After Explosion Rocks Military Depot In Nevada -- RT

Six people were killed and eight more wounded after a mortar exploded during a live-fire training exercise at an ammunition storage facility within a US military facility in western Nevada.

The explosion happened during the course of a US marine training exercise late on Monday at the Hawthorne Army Depot. A 60-millimeter mortar exploded in a tube while Marines were readying to fire it, Military officials told NBC News.
