I cannot decide if they were brave, or stupid.

They had no real anti-air platforms and they knew Apaches were exterminating them from the air. Um, continuing to maneuver against the ground elements is suicidal at that point.

Dump your weapon, sprint like your life depended upon it for a few seconds, they lay flat and don't move. To do otherwise means not that you *MIGHT* die, but that you *WILL* die.

Stupid waste of effectives.
