Survey Says: Islam is a Global Menace -- Andrew E. Harrod, American Thinker
In an exclusive for the German conservative newspaper Die Welt on April 26, 2013, the German Bertelsmann Stiftung released international survey results concerning popular perceptions of Islam. The polling of 14,000 people in 13 countries during November and December 2012 indicates broad-based concerns about the compatibility of Islamic beliefs and behaviors with free societies. Yet rather than engage in open debate, Muslims and their allies often seek merely the imposition of silence upon Islamic controversies.

My Comment: I live in Montreal, Canada .... and the sentiment here towards Muslims is probably on the bottom of everyone's priority list .... to put it bluntly .... no one cares.. On the flip side my nationality is Russian .... and the reaction among non-Muslim Russians back home is definitely hostile. The Moscow theater massacre, the Beslan school massacre, years of guerrilla warfare and terrorism in the Caucasus, etc. .... the bitterness is deep and on both sides.

I too also live in Canada I'm not so sure about this - you are right it is low on the priority list but it was enough to pressure amending immigration laws. Plus the new terrorism bill. From my experience alot of people are now a days more aware because of social media and we see it as a problem but the answers to go about in addressing it are rather void. I mean really what can you do against an ideology but do your best to prevent any radical terrorist attack. - Just my opinion.
Thank you Jason for your comment. Social media has had an impact, but from my experience 9/11 changed everything.
