Libya: Car Bomb In Benghazi Kills 17, Huge Demonstration Demands End To Terrorism -- The Tripoli Post
Benghazi: A huge car bomb exploded near Al-Jala hospital in Benghazi that has left at least 17 people dead, including three children, and 30 injured.
The Libyan Deputy Interior Minister Mr. Abdullah Masaud told reporters earlier that at least 15 were killed in the explosion and more than 30 injured some of them seriously.
Masaud said the number of dead and injured could very well go up.
A large angry demonstration started at Al-Sallani area where the car bomb attack took place and moved to Al-Mahkama Square (Tahrir Square) demanding an end to terrorism and the killing in the city.
