Geraldo Rivera: My Sources Tell Me Benghazi Was About Running Missiles to Syrian Rebels -- The Blaze
Geraldo Rivera said Friday that his sources tell him the U.S. was involved in a secret mission in Libya to arm the Syrian rebels, which was the reason for the initial secrecy about the attack in Benghazi.
Rivera said on “Fox & Friends” that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney may have been briefed by then-CIA Director David Petraeus “to suggest that there was a secret mission going on there, that we can’t go there, we can’t talk about it.”

My Comment: I have heard this story more than once .... and from multiple sources. But that is all that it has been .... just talk .... no evidence .... no paper trail .... no whistle-blower. If Geraldo Rivera has sources, he should tell them to go public .... which (if this story is true) I will bet that they will not.

None the less if this story is true it should be blown out of the water with full congressional oversight. It does raise questions though..
