Feinstein: Snowden Could Leak Even More Damaging Information -- The Hill

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) warned Sunday that Edward Snowden could be carrying a trove of classified information as he meets with Russian authorities.

“We need to know exactly what he has. He could have a lot, lot more. It may really put people in jeopardy,” Feinstein said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

“The only thing I’ve learned is that he could have over 200 separate items,” she added. “That’s been relayed to me.”

Feinstein said the principle damage caused by Snowden was to reveal the existence of a classified program that she said has worked well and disrupted terrorist plots against the United States.

Snowden landed in Moscow on Sunday and could be headed to Cuba, Venezuela or Ecuador, countries with various degrees of hostile relations with the United States.

My Comment: This is the first time that I am hearing that NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden may have in his possession documents for up to 200  items of a sensitive nature.
