Syrian Opposition Head Expects Advanced Weapons To Reach Rebels -- Reuters

Update: Syrian Fighting Intensifies, Rebels Expect Weapons -- Voice of America
My Comment: The Syrian opposition movement has clearly chosen a wartime leader to lead them ....giving him the mandate to work with Arab allies in arming the rebel army. He has also made it very clear that he will not attend a proposed U.S.- and Russian-sponsored peace conference in Geneva unless the Syrian rebel's military position becomes stronger. A profile on Ahmad Jarba .... Syria's new opposition leader .... is here.
