WNU Editor: I just learned today that Time's Battleland website is shutting down. This is a sad trend .... in the past few months a number of informative and engaging Military-Defense-National Security sites have shut down .... reflecting (I guess) on declining interest and readership. Sighhhh ..... I guess it is time for me to update my links on the left side of this blog .... I know that a number of them are no longer active.
As for War News Updates .... I have been blogging for years .... thousands of hours, 50,000 posts, and millions of page views is a testament to that. And as long as I am healthy and able and there is at least one reader out there who is interested in the topics that this blog covers .... WNU is going to be around for a few more years.
