A picture has emerged showing NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden grinning from ear to ear as he left Moscow airport on Thursday, after more than a month stranded at the terminal.

The 30-year-old is seen positively beaming, flanked by his Russian lawyer Anatoly Kucherena and two unknown women, as he marches out of Sheremetyevo airport having been granted asylum by Vladimir Putin for a year.

Snowden's whereabouts in Russia will be kept secret for security reasons, Kucherena said.

My Comment: He definitely looks like a happy camper. Not surprising ....  no one knows where he is right now in Russia.
