Hopefully the future that Mr. Ibrahim describes will never come to pass, but his words must serve as a dire warning. For the first time since the height of the Cold War, the world is once again facing the possibility of nuclear Armageddon. The Islamic Republic of Iran seems hellbent on developing nuclear weapons, and despite ten years of threats and sanctions, the centrifuges continue to spin in secret bomb-proof bunkers buried deep below the mountains of Iran.
We have all heard the rhetoric from Bush and Obama warning Iran to stop enriching uranium and abandon their race to build an atomic bomb. We all witnessed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stand before the UN General Assembly and clearly explain that Iran was rapidly approaching the “redline’ that would force Israel to take unilateral military action.
