Update: China’s Communist Party says will ease 1-child policy slightly, abolish labor camp system -- Washington Post/AP

My Comment: I am a China watcher with a good track record when it comes to China .... and even I was surprised by how quickly President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang moved to push a series of reforms this week. This is a very positive sign .... and while I am concerned that the bureaucracy and officials on the state level may work to slow it down and/or sabotage it .... I suspect that these reforms will be enacted quickly and with popular support.
