North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may be a tyrant no less brutal than his father.
According to a National Intelligence Service report on Friday, it is evident that Jang Song-thaek Kim Jong-un's uncle and who had been the second-in-command in the North's power structure, has been ousted.
In a briefing to the National Assembly's intelligence committee, Nam Jae-joon, the chief of Seoul's intel agency, also said that Jang's two closest confidants -- Ri Yong-ha and Jang Soo-kil were arrested and then publicly executed late last month.
The NIS also confirmed Jang's brother-in-law and nephew were forcibly called in for questioning.
