My Comment: Regular readers of this blog know that I have relatives in Russia (my Russian father was born in eastern Ukraine, and many of my cousins now live in Kiev). As you can imagine .... these demonstrations are hitting me home. I am hoping for a peaceful ending .... but I doubt that it will happen. Both sides are now polarized .... and no one is listening. My prediction .... expect a vicious government crackdown and a violent reaction from the demonstrators in return.
