10 Worst Genocides Of The 20th Century -- Geopol News
According to the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPGC), genocide is defined as "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group". The subject of what is and what is not considered genocide is a contentious one. Often, accusations of genocide having been committed are disputed for reasons that are usually political. My Comment: There are a few BIG omissions in this list. And Mao in China probably slaughtered more people than the Nazis ever did .... and all the other 20th century genocides combined.
